芳亭村属安溪县虎邱镇，地处镇域西南部，距镇政府约4公里，海拔约225米，省道207线穿村而过。村名原为下林东与半岭，后因地名谐音改称芳亭。[2][4]

村里以种植桂花和晒烟著称，桂花树的栽培历史在当地说法中有300多年至500年不等。[1][3][4]

地名由来[edit]

相传陈氏先祖由漳州迁到厦门殿前，又迁仙游枫亭，后从枫亭迁居此地，因“枫亭”音近“芳亭”而定名。村内另有半岭、苗后两个自然村，半岭之名相传与陈氏定居时梦见猛虎作窝有关。[2][3]

村子与西坪镇的尧阳相邻，南面有南山、八卦山，与竹园交界处有长仑山。[3]

经济[edit]

村里以桂花种植为核心产业。县政府网站称该村是「安溪桂花第一村」，另有资料称「华东桂花第一村」；当地的桂花栽培据称已有300多年，博雅地名网则说有500年。[1][2][4]

晒烟是村里的另一项传统作物，其中苗后一地的晒烟最为人所知；村里也育苗种茶。[1][3]

村中人口的数字各处不同：博雅地名网记为全村2800多人，县政府网站则记为520户、2400多人，后者未注明统计年份。[2][1]

荣誉[edit]

近年村里获得的荣誉有：2020年12月，入选「2020年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」（晒烟）；2021年12月，被确定为「泉州市2019-2021年度市级“一村一品”专业村（乡镇）」；2022年10月，被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2022年12月，被命名为「2022年福建省卫生村」；2023年2月，入选「第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单；2025年3月，被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[2]
