观山村隶属安溪县龙门镇，位于镇政府驻地西南约1.7公里，海拔115米。村地古称下园和观兰山，因村中一处较大的自然村叫观兰山，村名才改为观山。村内辖5个自然村，村民多为白、周、林、沈、陈姓。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属依仁里，民国时属龙榜镇的一个保，1952年划入第六区，1958年设官桥公社的大队。1965年随龙门公社从官桥分出，自成一个大队；1984年改设观山村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

观澜宗祠位于观兰山，为县级文物保护单位。[2]
