金狮村是安溪县龙门镇的行政村，在镇政府驻地西南约0.9公里，濒临龙门溪左岸。村地旧称金汤乡与石盘头乡：村中温泉当地称“汤”，故有金汤之名；花岗岩丰富，因而称石盘头。因地处龙门西侧，“狮”与“西”音近，改称金狮。全村辖5个自然村。[1][2]

温泉与资源[edit]

村中温泉，博雅地名网记水温为87℃，县人民政府网站则作80℃。村内还有花岗岩资源。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期这里称金狮保，1949年改设金狮乡。1961年分出，独立建为金狮大队；改革开放后改称金狮村。[1]
