翠坑村隶属福建省泉州市安溪县龙门镇，在镇区东南方向约5公里，村地平均海拔485米。村委会驻东后格，村名出于一个雅称：村民觉得“翠坑”比“东后格”雅致，便取翠坑为名。全村辖7个自然村，林地占比超过九成，常住人口约400人（截至2020年）。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
这里清代隶属依仁里。1961年有了翠坑大队的建制，1965年改归龙门公社辖，1984年由村委会取代大队。[1]
产业与荣誉[edit]
村域面积约9.55平方千米。近年村里以茭白种植等特色农业为重点。2022年，村庄获评福建省森林村庄。[2]
