大演村位于金谷镇，村名原作御史岭脚，后谐音写作大演。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网所述：古时此地称御史岭脚，因唐代一位中举的秀才做了御史，乡人对外通信便写上这一地址。地形平展呈圆，故曾叫大圆，后来谐音为大演。[1]

村子是革命老苏区。民国时期它隶属湖头，名内苏里下五社。中华人民共和国成立后归金谷公社的五社大队，1960年后改为大演大队。1984年以金谷乡大演村委会的名义设立，1991年又改设金谷镇大演村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，大演村被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」；2022年1月，被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
