山岭村位于金谷镇，三面环山，村名由旧地名山门与岭头各取一字而成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1991年金谷乡改镇，村委会随之成为金谷镇山岭村委会；1984年4月，乡建制下设有金谷乡山岭村委会。1962年4月，村子归金谷公社，名山岭大队。更早，1958年归蓬莱公社、名山门；清朝时属来苏里山门乡。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，山岭村被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」；2022年1月，被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
