中都村位于金谷镇，原称中埔，1990年改名中都，1992年经市政府批准设立村委会。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名早先称中埔，属来苏里的中都保。1990年2月，村子独立，先称当埔村；同年3月改名中都。1992年10月，市政府批准设立中都村委会。中华人民共和国成立后，村子曾隶属蓬莱区源口乡的五社大队。[1]
