涝港村在城厢镇境内，村名经历了荔港、两港到涝港三次更改。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名原为荔港，因历代盛产荔枝。后山洪暴发，泥石流冲毁荔枝园，荔枝园成了两条山沟，村名改为两港。因地势低洼，每遇洪水即成灾，遂定名涝港。[1]

原属一个生产大队。1979年5月，经城厢公社同意分出，设涝港农场；1990年3月撤场，改设涝港行政村，获县人民政府批准。[1]

2020年、2021年和2022年，涝港村三次入选淘宝村名单。[1]
