过溪村位于城厢镇中心区，村名旧称郭溪，因靠近溪边而来，后改称过溪。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
最早由郭姓先民在此开垦，村落靠溪而建，原名郭溪。郭姓后裔早已迁往别处，新中国成立后才改名过溪。[1]
1958年起归城厢公社的过溪大队，1979年改为乡内的过溪村，1984年设立村委会。[1][2]
经济[edit]
2020年、2021年和2022年，过溪村三次入选淘宝村名单。[1]
文化[edit]
2022年1月，村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
