员宅村位于城厢镇东侧，村中保存有五代时期的廖长官墓，列为县级文物保护单位。[2][4][5]

历史沿革[edit]

宋朝时村中出过安溪首位进士张读，因村中多官员居住，遂称员宅。[1][2]

明清时期属永安里。民国时期（1946年）归泰安乡的员宅保管辖，1952年隶属第一区员宅乡，1958年组成城关公社员宅大队，1965年改隶城厢公社，1984年设员宅村委会。[1][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的廖长官墓为五代古墓葬，列为县级文物保护单位；村中另有殷氏宗祠旧址，据百度百科为明代建筑。[4][5][2]

经济[edit]

2020年、2021年和2022年，员宅村三次入选淘宝村名单。[1]
