石古村位于城厢镇东南，村落在笔架山大尖山的山腰，平均海拔约600米。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：相传山顶有石头似鼓、似鸡、似狗，若是有人物出名，石鼓就会响，石狗会吠，石鸡会啼，因而称为石古。[1][2]

明清时期属永安里；民国35年属泰安乡一保，1952年属第一区一乡，1958年归城关公社的一个大队，1965年改属城厢公社。1982年自原大队析出，设石古大队，当年4月已是独立的村；1984年设石古村委会。[1][3]

经济[edit]

2023年12月，村被认定为「2023年度福建省‘一村一品’专业村」（铁观音）。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年11月，村被确定为「2022年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」；2022年1月，又被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
