土楼村在城厢镇政府驻地西部，因村中一座古建土楼而得名。旧时土楼占地1800多平方米，村民以谢姓为主。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代称永安里土楼乡，1984年属城厢镇。[2][3]

村中的大土楼土墙厚约一米，二层建筑，原先住有百余人，后由谢氏购入居住，清末开始倒塌，仍有几十人居住。群众因此称这一自然村为土楼，中华人民共和国成立前称土楼保，之后沿用为土楼村。[1]

经济[edit]

2020年、2021年和2022年，土楼村三次入选淘宝村名单。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年1月，村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
