同美村位于城厢镇西北，村名原称塘尾，因清乾隆年间村中陈氏兄弟先后中进士而改称同美。村中同美陈氏的旧衙、新衙祖厝，以及村域内的阆苑岩，都是县级文物保护单位。[2][5][6]

历史沿革[edit]

古称塘尾。清乾隆时期，同族堂兄弟陈宗达、陈元锡先后中了进士，村名遂改称同美。[1][2]

同美陈氏的开基始祖陈昆禄，元至正二十年（1360年）自永春迁来定居。[4]

中华人民共和国成立前同美属永安里，成立后先归一个区管辖，后建社。1957年改属城厢乡，设同美大队；1984年改设城厢镇同美村委会。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

同美陈氏旧衙与新衙祖厝均为清代古建筑，列为县级文物保护单位。[5][6]

阆苑岩位于阆苑山顶，岩宇始建于唐代，祀达摩祖师。宋代朱熹题写的“清溪八景”中有“阆岩夕照”，即指此处。现存殿宇为清代单檐歇山顶结构，1991年列为县级文物保护单位；1999年，一批居住在新加坡的同美陈氏亲人出资，依原址重建殿宇。[4][7]
