码头村在城厢镇境内，地处蓝溪支流澳江的上游。村名的来历有两种说法：一种是先民开垦时挖出古代商船的船板，于是认为此处是商船停泊的码头；另一种说法是村中有巨石形似马头，村落旧称“马头乡”。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属光德里；民国时期归城苑镇雅兴保管辖。1952年划入第二区雅兴乡，1958年并入城关公社的一个大队，1965年改属城厢乡，并自原大队析出，另设码头大队。1984年设城厢乡码头村委会。[1][2][3]

文化[edit]

2022年1月，村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
