历史沿革[edit]
五代南唐年间，此地已有人冶炼银、铁。据记载，1872年前后，潘田附近设有炼铁炉，剑斗一带或即其地。[3]
1942年，福建华侨炼铁农具厂从潘田运矿至剑斗冶炼；1949年，当地14人集资兴办小型炼铁农具厂；1953年改为地方国营剑斗铁厂；1963年转产水泥，建成安溪第一家水泥厂。[3]
1958年设剑斗大队，1984年改设村委会。[2]
2022年1月，村庄被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[2]
