益林村属福建省泉州市安溪县官桥镇。村子原名新林，后改称益林，村中种有大片树林。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时，本地属积德乡新溪里。1946年为官溪镇善益保的一部分，建国后划入第五区善益乡，1958年并入官桥公社善益大队。1961年，村中分出一支设立新林大队，因与蓬莱镇新林村同名，此后又称益林大队。1984年起为官桥镇益林村委会。[1]
