洪塘村属福建省泉州市安溪县官桥镇。村子四面环山，环抱似塘，土壤多为红色，原称红塘，后谐音改为洪塘。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代此地为积德乡新溪里的五里埔乡。1946年，它成为官溪镇五里保下的五里铺村；建国后划归第五区五岭乡。1961年由五里大队分出，组成吾都公社的洪塘大队，1965年改由官桥公社管辖。1984年起称官桥镇洪塘村委会。[1]
