吾宗村属福建省泉州市安溪县官桥镇。村名取自镇内陈氏祖地虞宗，因「虞」与「吾」谐音，改称吾宗。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，此地为新溪里的虞宗乡。民国时期并入官溪镇的虞都保，保内有虞宗与仙都村。新中国成立后归第五区虞都乡管辖；1958年设立官桥公社吾宗大队。[1]
