莲兜美村属福建省泉州市安溪县官桥镇。村中沟渠多生莲花，原称莲沟尾，后因闽南话中「美」「尾」同音，改称莲兜美。[1]

村名所指的莲兜美豆干是镇里的传统特产，安溪县人民政府网站2019年发布的镇概览将其与山珍豆签、成珍桔红糕并列。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

五代后唐时，此地开创井兜厝，称西头大洋井兜，当时尚未设安溪县，隶属南安县小溪场。五代后周时属清溪县归善乡依仁里，称宅沟尾。[1]
