半山村位于湖头镇。村民建居于高山的半山腰，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明末清初，林氏由湖头陇西迁来此地繁衍。明清时期归修仁乡来苏里；1946年（民国35年）属清溪镇霞山保。1952年归第四区霞山乡，1956年并入美山乡；1958年湖头公社设半山大队。1984年，此地称半山村；1987年划归湖头镇，并设村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
