历史沿革[edit]
明清时期此地属修仁乡感化里。1984年，此地为湖头乡埔美村；1987年乡建制改为镇，村名定为湖头镇埔美村，村委会同时设立。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年1月，村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
