历史沿革[edit]
宋、明、清时期此地属感化里，民国时期分属来感区清溪乡的河阳保与选贤保。1949年9月县政府成立后，此地先归清溪区清溪镇，次年改隶第四区；1955年划入湖头镇，1956年转归湖头区。1958年初属湖头乡，同年11月并入湖头人民公社，称湖二生产大队。1961年8月自原大队分出，重新设立湖二生产大队。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
李光地故居中的新衙又称昌佑堂，于康熙三十七年（1698年）动工兴建，位于本村。[2]
宅祠群中有李氏家庙与景新堂，另有世家大厝、六房小宗等建筑。景新堂建于清末，其余多为清初所建。[1]
顶五房小宗位于中山街，为县级文物保护单位；李坚墓位于碧翠山，为明代墓葬，也是县级文物保护单位。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2015年10月，村入选福建省第一批省级传统村落。2022年1月，村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
