新坂村位于蓬莱镇政府驻地西偏北约12千米的山坡地，海拔112米，村委会设在官会。[2]
地名与沿革[edit]
村名由新美、坂顶两地各取一字而成，坂顶得名于地处坡坂上方。[1][2]
宋时此地属金田乡龙兴里第十都，明清又归金田乡兴二里。民国后并入蓬莱乡新林保，新中国成立后设新林乡。1958年并入一个大队，1961年才分出，建成新坂大队，1984年定名新坂村。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2022年1月，村庄被认定为「安溪县2020—2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
