沿革[edit]
明清时期属修仁乡崇善里，民国时归蓬莱乡蓬中保，1952年改属第三区蓬中乡。1958年划归蓬莱公社的一个大队，1961年才从中分出，另设联中大队；1984年改称联中村。[1]
古迹与遗址[edit]
村内有大墘林氏大宗等古建筑群。[2]
大墘杨厝山尾一带分布着新石器时代及周时代的遗址，遗物有石斧、红砂陶、灰砂陶和印纹硬陶等。[2]
