地名与沿革[edit]
宋元时期此地建有彭城楼，「彭」与「坪」读音相近，故称彭格。村名由彭内与凤格各取一字而来。[2][5]
旧称彭格保，后改彭格乡，1955年后为大队，1960年后设彭格公社，「文化大革命」后恢复称彭格大队；1980年后改称彭格村。[3]
人物与历史[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，村中先祖在明代自龙岩黄坑迁来定居，此后人丁繁衍。[4]
据百度百科，此地是清咸丰三年（1853年）太平天国农民首领陈圣的故乡。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年，村庄入选第二批国家森林乡村名单。[2]
