沿革[edit]
明清时属修仁乡崇善里；民国时归蓬莱乡洪福保，新中国成立后设第三区洪福乡。[4]
1958年改设蓬莱公社植洋大队，1962年独立成村，1984年定名植洋村。[4]
宫庙与物产[edit]
村内有善利堂、普陀宫、门楼宫、崇德宫等宫庙。[2]
村境地势平坦，宜种水稻、番薯、小麦、烟草、茶树和甘蔗，并产荔枝、龙眼、芒果、油柿和柑橘。[2]
