地名与沿革[edit]
村中李氏先祖原居他处，后迁入此地。村名最初取「鸿卿」，为的是怀念原来的居住地，后改作「鸿福」。[4]
清代，村中有不少人移居新加坡等地。[4]
民国时期归蓬莱乡鸿福保，新中国成立后设第三区鸿福乡；1958年组建蓬莱公社鸿福大队，1984年改为村制，定名鸿福村。[3]
革命遗迹与宫庙[edit]
村内的后墘、北墘两个自然村，是第二次国内革命战争时期的红军活动据点。[2]
辖区内有济山庙等景点。[2]
