地名与人口[edit]
村名与元末一件史事有关：至正十四年（1354年），农民起义首领李大在境内山寨据险称帝。[2][5]
村内的主要姓氏有林、胡、姚、郑、杨、魏、唐七个，通行闽南语。[1][2]
村辖15个自然村，下设33个村民小组。[3]
圩市与经济[edit]
龙居街是村中的传统圩市，元尚公路穿街而过，每月初一、初六开圩，茶叶和农产品交易已成规模。[3]
农业是基础产业，改革开放后陆续有制衣厂、石料加工厂、香厂和竹藤加工点，茶叶是村里的支柱产业。[3]
文物与古迹[edit]
龙显堂是供奉观音的圣庙，原名龙居庵，始建于明代，1981年经海内外乡贤集资重修。2003年6月，县人民政府将其列为第六批县级文物保护单位。[3][4]
村境内的五凤山顶有李大起义遗址，属元代遗址，列入县级文物保护单位名录。据县政府网站，李大曾在境内大寨山顶筑寨、据险称帝；博雅地名网则把这处遗址写作五凤山。[4][5][6]
