历史沿革[edit]
1982年4月，鹤厅村从龙居村中析置。[3] 村中以刘姓为主。元大德四年（1300年）刘氏后人迁入此地，开始定居；明万历年间，一支族人迁往福鼎，清末又有人迁往台湾，并有族人远赴马来西亚、新加坡和印尼。[1]
地名与自然[edit]
村名取自村落地形，远看如白鹤栖在溪畔。[1]
村辖鹤厅、溪溢路、加垄、尾岭格和新厝王五个自然村，村域面积4.53平方千米。[1][2]
纪念地与名胜[edit]
村内有龙水堂，始建于清末，1970年修缮，内供清水祖师与观音佛祖。[2] 鹤山楼原为土楼形式的关帝庙，清代遭火毁后重建，1998年又翻建，每年农历五月十三日村民前来祭拜。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2008年，村庄被县政府评为「2006—2007年度文明村」。2024年6月，村庄列入福建省第四批高级版「绿盈乡村」名单。[1][2]
