北石社区是福建省泉州市安溪县凤城镇下辖的社区，位于镇中心区西北部，靠近山地。[1]

地名由来[edit]

社区西北靠山，地势险峻，历来易守难攻，故名北石。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

旧时北石隶属安溪城池府地，因自然条件所限，归美法村管辖。建国后这里设了同美农场，部分居民改归农场管理。改革开放后，县里将北石列入开发计划。1995年设立居委会，仍用北石之名；2004年改称北石社区。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，北石社区被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
