下埭村位于泉州湾东岸、洛阳江入海处，与泉州市政府隔海相对，别名霞里。村中有新石器时代遗址音楼山，以及明代的郭氏墓葬。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记，明永乐年间郑和下西洋时，曾帮助修筑沿海堤岸。后来一位怀基公在此开发霞里，村名遂改为下埭，别名霞里。[1]

民国时期此地称下埭保，1942年后并入邻近的保。1949年后归邻近的乡管辖；1956年初改属高级农业社，下埭分为五个生产队。1962年分出，设为下埭大队；1984年改为下埭村委会。[1]

2020年，本村被评为省级旅游村；2017至2019年度，本村获泉州市文明村称号（2020年11月公布）。2024年1月，本村被命名为2023年福建省卫生村。[2][1]

百崎郭氏墓群位于本村与里春村，为明代墓群，据百度百科系郭氏一至七世祖墓，2019年列入第八批全国重点文物保护单位名单。其中的郭仲远墓，博雅地名网称为国家级保护文物。[3][2]

郭仕敏父子墓为县级文物保护单位，博雅地名网记其年代为明至现代，类别为古墓葬。[1]

音楼山遗址为县级文物保护单位，博雅地名网记其年代为新石器时代。[1]
