后坑村是辋川镇下辖的行政村，属镇乡结合区，烧厝为其自然村之一。[1]

地名由来[edit]

明代时，吴氏村民自东岭大吴迁来，在面海的大坑缓坡地建村，以姓氏取名吴坑。后来陈氏村民迁到坑垄之后的缓坡台地建村，遂改称后坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属三十四都下庄铺，民国时属辋川乡后社保。1949年冬以后，先后隶属第一区、十一区、十四区，以及驿坂区后社乡。1958年划入超先公社，辋川公社又设后坑大队；1985年改为辋川乡后坑村委会，1989年乡改镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

后坑陈玉辉故居位于烧厝自然村，建筑为两进三开间硬山式，抬梁式木构架，面阔约9米、进深约16米，大门内凹，两边双门对开。博雅地名网称其年代为明代。[1]
