前洋村是辋川镇下辖的行政村，与坑南村、吹楼村、南星村等相邻。[1]村中的前洋妈祖宫为古建筑。[1]

地名由来[edit]

古时杨、林、郑等姓村民相继迁来建基，因杨姓先到，故名前洋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时属三十四都洞峰铺（玉山铺）；民国时隶属辋川乡洞峰保。1949年冬以后，先后划入第一区、十一区与驿坂区的洞峰乡。1958年归超先公社洞峰大队；1961年改为辋川公社前洋大队，1985年设辋川乡前洋村委会，1989年乡改镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

前洋妈祖宫位于前洋自然村，宫名又称「飞凤古地」。据博雅地名网，宫始建于明代，坐向朝西，前后两进，每进三开间，山门、两厢、大殿俱全。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，村庄获评惠安县2023年度「平安村（社区）」；同年10月，入选泉州市2023年度市级「一村一品」专业村名单，主导产业为水稻。[1]
