庄上村是辋川镇下辖的行政村，位于走马埭一带，境内有走马埭万亩基本农田保护区。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村名意为先祖开家发业之地。另据传，元末时此处旧称老庄坑，后改为庄上。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代隶属惠安县北门外。1943年划归惠安辋川。1950年设辋川公社试剑乡；1966年称革新大队；1971年析出另设生产大队，改名庄上大队；1981年更名为庄上村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

1989年2月，惠安县将走马埭划为耕地保护区，之后陆续建成排灌渠、水闸与机耕道。据维基百科，庄上村辖境内的走马埭所划定的万亩基本农田，被认为是福建省最早的耕地保护区。[2]

2021年12月，村庄被确定为2021年度福建省「一村一品」示范村（紫苏），同月又被确定为泉州市2019至2021年度市级「一村一品」专业村（乡镇），主导产业为蔬菜。[1]
