辋川镇位于福建省泉州市惠安县东部，地处林辋溪下游，东面临湄洲湾，是惠安县下辖的镇之一。[1][3]全镇辖25个行政村。镇内有辋川桥、青龙桥、虎屿岩等县级文物保护单位，明代辋川城建成后，此地渐成县城的商港。[2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

辋川古称网城、万城。据维基百科，一说因地形似网而得名，网字谐音为“辋”；博雅地名网则称民国时取辋城的“辋”字定为地名。[3][4] 宋代此地属崇善乡，元代归文质乡，明清时期分属二、三、五、三十四都等铺。[3][4]

明成化二十一年（1485年），惠安知县张桓主持建成辋川桥。桥建成后，辋川一带通往惠北、肖厝、枫亭与仙游的道路由此而过。[2][5]

嘉靖年间沿海倭患频繁，当地于嘉靖三十七年（1558年）议筑城墙，至嘉靖四十一年（1562年）城成。城建成之后，辋川渐成县城的商港，粮食、柴薪、竹木与海产等物资在此转运，辐射惠东、惠北与闽中腹地。[4]

民国年间设辋川乡。1949年9月，全镇分为13个乡，隶属第一区。1956年改为乡级镇，1958年并入超先人民公社的管理区，1961年成立辋川人民公社，1984年改为辋川乡，1989年10月再改为镇。[3][4]

2014年9月，环境保护部授予辋川镇「2012年—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域面积约54平方千米。[3][4] 镇区西侧与螺城镇相邻，南面接涂寨镇，北面与泉港区的前黄镇、涂岭镇接壤，东南与东桥镇交界。[4]

试剑村西北的山地上有虎屿岩，岩石奇特，寺庙、石洞与奇花异草相伴，惠安县人民政府将其列为辋川虎屿岩景区。[1][6][9]

经济[edit]

走马埭位于镇内庄上村一带。1989年2月，惠安县将其划为耕地保护区，此后陆续建成排灌渠、水闸与机耕道。据维基百科，这里是福建省第一块耕地保护区。[4]

辋川村的港口优势自古显著，商贸由来已久，村民中以商业和手工业为生者较多。[10]

文化[edit]

当地女子的服饰与惠安女、蟳埔女并列，被称为“网婆”，是泉南一带服饰的一种。[4]

辋川的学校教育始于1930年，辋川公学当年在东尾头街的教堂内开办；随后静观寺一带设立莲山小学，后改为公办中心小学。抗日战争期间，侯卿一带又办起更新小学和侨光中学。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

据惠安县人民政府2022年公布的县级文物保护单位名录，辋川镇共有19处。[2] 其中明代建筑有辋川妈祖庙、越王宫、灵安宫、五峰宫、凤山宫和侯卿方伯第；清代至民国建筑有居仁提督衙、程氏家庙、下四家陈氏祖厝、潘氏家庙、辋川城隍庙旧址和麟凤庙；宋元时期的遗存有青龙桥、峰崎何氏宗祠和虎屿岩观音石雕像。[2]

试剑石崖刻位于试剑村北侧的古官道上，相传唐末黄巢经过时曾劈石试剑，石面留有刻字。[2][7]

鲤鱼岛为社坑村海边的小岛，因形似鲤鱼而得名，岛上的灵惠庙是县级文物保护单位。[2][8]

近现代建筑中，萱晖别墅由华侨何吉水出资，1951年动工，1954年建成。[2]
