南赛东村位于小岞镇最东端，三面临海，村民以渔业为生。[1][4]

地名由来[edit]

此处早年是小岞岛东南突出部的要塞。庄、洪、邱三姓村民先后迁来定居，因方位与地势称为南塞，方言读音相近，后写作南赛。1987年分为两个村委会时，东边的一个依方言取名南赛东村。[3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时属三十一都黄坑铺，民国时属净峰乡东南保；1949年冬以后归第三、第四区的东南乡与东岭区小岞乡。[2]

1958年隶属飞跃公社东南大队，1961年分出南赛大队，隶小岞公社。1968年曾并入净峰公社，1976年又回属小岞公社。[2]

1987年起，本村为小岞乡的南赛东村委会。[2]

概况[edit]

博雅地名网载全村总人口3046人、760户，分11个村民小组；百度百科则记户籍人口3333人。两说均未注统计年份，此处并存。[1][4]

村民以渔业为生，产业以鱿鱼为主。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，本村获确认为「一村一品」示范村（鱿鱼），属福建省2021年度项目。同月，市级「一村一品」专业村（乡镇）的名单中也有本村，所属年度为2019至2021年，主导产业同为鱿鱼。[1]

文化遗存[edit]

三山宫在本村，清乾隆二十九年（1764年）建，1918年修，供奉保生大帝，属县级文物保护单位（第八批）。百度百科将南赛码头列为本村著名景点。[5][4]
