螺山村位于小岞镇西北部，北面临湄洲湾出口的南岸。[1]

地名由来[edit]

1984年12月，本村从后内村划出独立设置。村北螺山自然村后面的西帽山外形似海螺，村名因而得名。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时此地属三十一都黄坑铺，民国时归净峰乡后内保。1949年冬以后，这里先后归第三区与第四区的湖街区后内乡，1956年并入东岭区小岞乡。[2]

1958年以后，先隶飞跃公社，后属小岞公社的后内大队；1984年分出螺山大队，1985年改称小岞乡螺山村委会。[2]

博雅地名网载村域面积一平方千米，总人口2800人，未注统计年份。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，本村被评为福建省2021年度森林村庄。2022年10月，本村经福建省农业农村厅认定，列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2024年2月，本村被列为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。2024年3月，获命名为「惠安县2023年度平安村（社区）」。[1]
