前群村位于惠安县小岞镇的中心区域，镇人民政府就设在这个村里。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村名来自前内地区一个海群渔业队的名称。1982年5月，前内大队分出三个大队，其中一个取前内的「前」与海群的「群」合成「前群」。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代，此地记在三十一都黄坑埔名下；民国时归净峰乡前内保管辖。1949年冬以后，这里先后划入第三、第四区的前内乡，1956年并入东岭区小岞乡。[3]

1958年前后，前内大队曾隶属飞跃、小岞、净峰三个公社。1982年它被析成前群、前峰、前海三个大队，1985年起称小岞乡前群村委会。[3]

人口与产业[edit]

据百度百科，全村户籍人口3574人；博雅地名网则记为3574人、910户。两书都没有注明统计年份。村民靠渔业为生，兼做海水养殖、建筑、商贸与运输，耕地约220亩。[1][2]

主导产业是鱼露。2023年12月，福建省认定本村为以鱼露为主导产业的「一村一品」专业村，年度为2023；2024年10月，泉州市又把它列入2023年度市级「一村一品」专业村的名单。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，前群村名列「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」。[2]
