厝头村是福建省泉州市惠安县净峰镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区西部，下辖三个自然村[1]。村名由来：“厝”是闽南人对住所的称呼，寓意开创基业。明朝成化年间，张氏五世祖让公从邻村分出，来此定居；因地势较高，又处于西头一带的东北角，遂名厝头[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1949年后，本地先后隶属第三区、第四区；1958年归飞跃公社延寿大队，1961年划入净峰公社，1985年设村委会，2000年自原村分出，另立厝头村委会[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

厝头万善宫碑位于本村，年代为清代，属古建筑[1]。万善宫始建年代不详，现建筑为近年重修[1]。
