散湖村位于东桥镇东部沿海，东面与镇政府驻地相邻，村域面积约1.54平方千米，海岸线长3.1公里。村名取“湖多而散”之意。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属三十三都梅庄铺，民国时属东岭乡的梅庄保。1949年冬起，村归三区（东岭）梅庄乡。1958年并入飞跃公社的梅庄大队；1961年自梅庄大队析出，成为东岭公社的散湖大队。1985年设东岭乡散湖村委会，其后划归东桥镇。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

海美宫建于清代，位于西湖自然村北面的海岸边，供奉南宋的爱国诗人文天祥，香火延续数百年。[1][3]
