厝斗村是东桥镇的行政村。村名的来历：张姓村民从松柏头迁来，建居于一处形似戽斗的坑垄旁，故名厝斗。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代，此地归三十二都的山前铺。民国年间并入玉仁保。解放后，它先后隶属三区的玉仁乡，以及东岭区的东岭镇。1958年编为飞跃公社的玉仁大队；1961年又分出，独立设为东岭公社的厝斗大队。1985年，东岭乡设厝斗村委会；1996年起隶属东桥镇。[1]
