涂厝村位于东岭镇。最早是涂姓人家在此建屋，因而得名涂厝；之后张姓和庄姓人家也陆续搬来住下[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
涂厝在民国时属东岭乡龙山保，明清时属三十二都山前铺。解放后归东岭区龙山乡；1958年隶属飞跃公社龙山大队。1961年东岭公社成立后另设涂厝大队，1985年改设东岭乡涂厝村委会，乡改镇后归镇属[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
涂厝庄志谦故居与家庙在涂厝自然村，建于清代。庄志谦号牧亭，清道光十五年（1835）中进士，官至兵部员外郎，获诰授中宪大夫[1]。
文化[edit]
2024年1月，涂厝村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」[1]。
