小坵村在东岭镇，村名由来：古时邱姓村民迁来建居，因人口较少而称小邱；后刘姓村民迁入，将“邱”改为“坵”，遂称小坵[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期此地属东岭乡，明清时则属三十一都黄坑铺。1949年冬之后归东岭区管辖。1961年东岭公社设立时，从中析出设小丘大队；1987年又析出，成为东岭乡的小丘村委会；1989年乡改镇后归镇属[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
西垵刘氏祠堂在西垵自然村，始建于明代，现存为清代所建。祠堂坐东北朝西南，分两进，每进三开间，屋顶为硬山式，梁架是穿斗与抬梁的组合[1]。
