大坵村位于东岭镇中部，紧挨镇区，属于镇区规划范围之内[1]。村名与地形有关：明末邱姓村民自河南迁来，在丘陵上建村，初称为丘，后因人口渐多，遂加“大”字[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

大坵村在1995年10月以前并非单独的村委会辖区，同年10月才析出，设立大坵村委会[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

大坵刘氏祖厝位于大坵自然村，清代始建，近年重修。建筑坐北向南，两进五开间，硬山式屋顶，屋脊作燕尾形[1]。
