金相村位于涂寨镇西北边缘的丘陵地带，东与瑞东村接壤，西与陈芹村交界，辖金相、柯厝、郑厝三个自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：明末，有村民从暗林落溪迁来定居，为纪念祖先「过相爷」，取名金相。村址有山环绕一半，因此旧称半山村。[1]
明清两代，此地属三十四都的仙溪铺；民国时归辋川奎山保。1949年冬起，先后隶属一区与十一区的奎山乡。1958年划入飞跃公社瑞山大队，1961年另立涂寨公社金相大队，1966年改归红星大队，1985年单独设金相村委会。[1]
革命史迹[edit]
解放前，王一芳、甘一山等人曾在郑厝自然村秘密开展地下活动。[1]
