塔上村是涂寨镇下辖的行政村，与下社村、大厅村相邻。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：明朝时村民沿浔溪两岸建居，因水獭常从此爬上岸，故名獭上，后音转为塔上。[1]

此村的建制可上溯到明朝。解放初，它隶属涂寨区公所下的浔溪乡。1958年归涂寨人民公社，为塔上生产大队；1984年成为涂寨乡的塔上村，其后归涂寨镇管辖。[1]
