岩峰村位于惠崇公路两侧，村北有岩古山，山上的岩古寺为县级文物保护单位。村中还有明代进士李恺的墓。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：村民大多建居在岩石山麓周围，故名岩峰。[1]

明清两代此地属二十九都蔡宅铺。民国时期，它是涂寨乡下的岩峰保。解放后，先后归二区与涂寨区的岩峰乡管辖；合作化时期组成岩峰高级社；1958年并入飞跃公社，立岩峰大队。[1]

1961年，随涂寨公社的设立，岩峰大队成立；1984年设岩峰村委会，属涂寨乡；1989年乡制改为镇建制，此村随之属涂寨镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

李恺墓在西新自然村，为明代墓葬，墓主李恺是惠安螺城人，字克谐，别号抑斋。他于明嘉靖十一年（1532年）中进士，此后他先后出任广东番禺县令与吏部稽勋司主事，后又做过兵部与按察司的官。嘉靖三十七年（1558年），李恺召集乡人抵御倭寇，使惠安县城得以保全。[2]

墓于2009年修缮。墓前的石马、石虎为明代原构件。该墓被列为「惠安县第十一批县级文物保护单位」。[2]

岩古寺在岩古山北侧，始建于北宋年间，屡经重修。主体由山门、天井与主殿组成，主殿奉三宝佛。寺西侧建文昌祠与三天君宫，东侧为僧楼与斋厨。该寺为县级文物保护单位。[2]
