和弄村坐落在文笔山下，是涂寨镇的一个行政村，设有10个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：此地古称豪巷，是多姓聚居的村落，后不知何时、因何缘故改称和弄。博雅地名网引用了《惠安乡土志》《惠安县志》与《紫云象塘黄氏族谱》的记载，说明村名沿用旧称。[1]

清代此地属东文质乡符里二十九都蔡宅铺，实行保甲。1947年全县重新编整保甲，和弄属涂寨乡文峰保，分为四甲。解放初属第二区文峰乡；合作化时期归飞跃公社，后又拆分为涂寨公社。[1]

大约在1961年，和弄自文峰分出，独立为生产大队，当时有八个生产队。1984年改设和弄村民委员会，设十个村民小组。[1]
