历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：村民分属庄、刘、陈、邱、叶等姓，以庄姓为主，约占八成。村址三面有五座小丘作屏障，远望如盒，故称庄内。[1]
清时隶泉州府二十八都的普光铺。民国32年（1943年）起，改隶普光乡的庄内保；解放后归第二区管辖，仍为普光乡。1958年并入涂寨人民公社，称庄内生产大队；1984年改设庄内大队管理委员会，其后改为庄内村民委员会。[2]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村民利用山坡和溪边的间杂地种植龙眼，种植面积一度达到800亩。[2]
1995年，庄内村被中央林业部授予「全国绿化千佳村」称号。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
宋代即有此建筑，最初是儒生讲学的场所，名为崧光精舍。明清两代重修过，建筑坐北朝南，两进院落，由山门、两廊和大殿组成，奉三宝佛。大殿中立有八根梭形石柱。门楣中间刻有明代书法家张瑞图所题的「葛山故地」四字。[3][4][5]
