灵山村位于涂寨镇西北部，隔林辋溪与螺阳镇相望。全村辖四个自然村，另有一个山峡移民新村。村中的灵瑞山寺是一处古寺。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：取龙瑞山名的首尾两字，音近而称灵山。[1]

明清时期此地属二十八都松林铺，民国时期归涂寨乡芹峰保。1949年冬起隶属二区芹峰乡。1961年自芹峰大队分出，另设涂寨公社灵山大队，1985年改设村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

灵瑞山寺在灵瑞山上，最初名为圆常寺，其兴建的年份在五代后梁乾化二年（912年）。北宋治平二年（1065年）更名为现名。1295年（元贞元年）寺毁于兵火，只剩佛殿，后经重修。寺朝向西方，建筑包括山门、两廊与主殿，主殿内奉三世尊佛与观音菩萨。[3]
